Waverly second grade instructional seminar students created a Wixie  presentation to document what they learned as they joined with other schools throughout the nation in a symbolic monarch migration to Mexico.  This interactive migration was sponsored by Journey North, an educational website (http://journeynorth.org/), that aims to engage students in a global study of wildlife migration and seasonal change. This project aligns with Waverly's certification as a Maryland Green School.
