Halloween at Waverly: Our annual Halloween parade and party will be held on 
Friday, October 31st. Our festivities will begin at 2:45. We will begin with our 
traditional parade. Our students will begin their parade through the teams, and then 
continue through the front doors to the black top. Areas will be marked for our parents to 
view the parade. Students taking part in the parade should be guided in the selection of 
their costumes and masks so that they are not violent in nature. We also ask that you 
ensure that your child’s mask does not impede his/her ability to see, since we will be 
parading. Finally, for security purposes, we ask that adults refrain from wearing masks to 
the festivities. 
 
We welcome your attendance at the parade. Please be reminded that only approved 
volunteers will be permitted to enter the classrooms. 
 
If your child does not participate in our Halloween festivities due to 
personal or religious beliefs, please inform your child’s classroom teacher so 
that an alternative activity may be provided.
